Best croissants and baguettes in Nashville, hands down. I’ve been here many times and each visit the staff is kind and welcoming. The pastries are fresh and made with simple ingredients. My recent visit, I was wanting a baguette, but they hadn’t arrived yet. I asked one more time after getting my food to go and the manager (I believe his name was Mike) grabbed me one right off the truck. When I asked if I can pay, he said it was on him. I was so taken back by the gesture and I will be a forever customer. Super welcoming atmosphere, family & children friendly, and amazing food. My fave are: baguettes, croissants, breakfast sandwich on croissants, berry danishes, iced vanilla latte, or seasonal brown butter marzipan latte. My husband loves their drip coffee and says it’s the best he’s had! Their coconut cloud coffee is good, but on the stronger side! So happy Nashville has a European style bakery 🥰🥐
Like having our very own family owned French Bistro right here in downtown Franklin. We initially only stopped in for one of their baked goods and possibly a coffee or matcha, which are al generally excellent and very fresh since they mill and bake everything on prem daily. They also have a small but nice selection of more specialized items like imported Swedish candy and pre-made sandwiches and snacks. Then we had the pleasure of experiencing their sit down restaurant for both breakfast and dinner and found it to be excellent. I particularly enjoyed the traditional breakfast and for dinner, the Sunday Roast, but there's nothing even mediocre on the menu. Even the sourdough and salted butter was shockingly delicious. It's just bread and butter, but they somehow made us all really want a second serving with its perfect balance of crisp crust and warm super soft inside. It's not cheap, but well worth it for a nice date night or higher quality breakfast option. If you can find a way to go on a weekday, you'll thank yourself, as it can get very crowded on the weekends.
You guys, I’m picky. What a pleasure to have an experience I rarely have. 10 out of 10! The fruit was fresh and sweet The bacon delicious The toast, a soft, wheat sourdough The butter homemade and creamy The coffee rich and flavorful My husbands grits we not just delicious, but beautifully plated. Who beautifully plates grits and an egg?! The atmosphere is warm, cheery, calm, decorated in southern US/French fusion. The staff were all helpful, warm and kind. We left with extra pastries for later. Excellent. Everything is beautiful and delicious, with a little whimsy, and a lot of charm.
Today at the Pereen Bakery in Franklin I had a chance to try my friend, Raina Shults Gourmet Macarons. They were the BEST I have ever tasted. It was like being in Paris! Her bakery is in Jackson TN. She has two vending machines there is one an organic grocer and one at the hospital. She also has a vending machine in East Nashville at Hunters Station. She is looking to move everything over to the Nashville area this year to focus on expanding the vending machines. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This place is a jewel in Franklin. I’ve been for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Dinner is only on weekends and definitely you will need reservations. Tasting menu was unforgettable! Pastries and desserts - epic. So grateful we have an awesome French bakery in town!
Perenn has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Franklin. The atmosphere is bright, welcoming, and feels like something you’d find in a European café. The coffee is excellent, the pastries are worth the hype, and the quality of ingredients shines through in every bite. Suggest the breakfast sandwich with sausage on an English muffin
Had an amazing brunch with friends today. This is the perfect place to grab a great Cappuccino and some sweet treats as well as a delicious meal! We had the Kale salad with chicken and the smash burger and truffle fries!
This place never misses! We absolutely love Perenn in Franklin. From breakfast to lunch to coffee runs, everything we’ve tried has been exceptional. The lemon ricotta pancakes are truly next-level — light, bright, and perfectly balanced. The Turkish eggs are savory and unforgettable. And the granola bowl with their house-made cow and goat milk yogurt? Completely out of this world. Beyond the food, the staff is incredibly friendly and the service is always warm and welcoming. It’s one of those places you keep coming back to because you know it’s going to be amazing every single time. Highly recommend.
We went to Perenn for brunch and loved it! The pastries and food are both amazing. Madison, our server, was so sweet and attentive. We ordered the Turkish eggs and the crispy brunch potatoes. Both were so flavorful and tasted wonderful. We also ordered the Kouign Amann and loved it. We also enjoyed the classic mimosas, the americano, and the earl grey tea. We visited on a weekday at brunch without a reservation. We were seated within a reasonable amount of time with minimal wait. It was busy, but very easy to talk amongst our party. I highly recommend Perenn!
Very cute cafe and service is impeccable! I really enjoyed the decor. There was a baby shower party/gathering in the table next to us— definitely a fun, cute place to throw an event. We had the burger with truffle fries and the crispy potato dish with 2 eggs, as well as an iced latte. Food was good. Overall would recommend and will go back again.
